Although our Commercial Telecoms’ Account Managers work regularly in collaboration with the wider teams delivering to the needs of our customers we do not always get the opportunity to share key highlights; here’s a taste of a few of the most recently completed projects. British AirwaysBritish Airways’ operational staff needed reliable and secure online connectivity at the head of stands to carry out their day-to-day activities without interruptions. Commercial Telecoms has provided extended Wi-Fi coverage across Terminals 5 A, B & C. Qatar Airways Commercial Telecoms have delivered Managed LAN services on Qatar Airways’ existing Virtual LAN network. The Airline has also installed IPTV provided by us at their office in Terminal 4. Virgin AtlanticTo improve the resiliency on their existing network in Terminal 3, Virgin Atlantic approached us for options and recommendations. Commercial Telecoms have since installed additional fibre and copper cabling to ensure an enhanced level of network connectivity for Virgin.Anya Hindmarch Commercial Telecoms is pleased to provide a number of our services such as Premium Broadband, IP Telephony and MLAN at the Anya Hindmarch pop-up store in Terminal 5. FendiOur ever-popular Managed services and Premium Broadband were picked by the popular designer brand at their store and pop-up location in Terminal 4. Thomas PinkThe sought-after shirts and accessories chain has opted for Commercial Telecoms provided VPN, Managed LAN, Co-location, Broadband and Wi-Fi solutions at their stores in Terminals 2 and 5.Mulberry Commercial Telecoms delivered several services including 10MB Premium Broadband, IP Telephony and Managed LAN to the classic British designer label at their store in Terminal 4 and stock rooms.Menzies Commercial Telecoms have delivered a Wider Area Mobile Data (WAMD) 4G network solution at Electra Avenue on Eastchurch Road, Longford. Site survey, installations and configuration requirements were all provided by Commercial Telecoms as part of the overall project. Our WAMD solution provides a campus-wide Wi-Fi network, extending out to those difficult to reach locations or remote areas across the Heathrow estate; making it possible for operational teams to communicate and share real-time information.You can find out more about how you can extend your data network to reach out in all areas at Heathrow here. CobaltCommercial Telecoms helped Cobalt with their connectivity solutions on their Terminal 4 relocation project; providing passive fibre and copper connections between their comms rooms with Managed LAN and Virtual LAN solutions. Bradford SwissportCommercial Telecoms provided the design and configuration of a new Wi-Fi On The Move solution with roaming for users to remain seamlessly connected.
